Competitions Terms & Conditions

Section 1: General Terms and Conditions

Competitions run by Garden Furniture House (the "Promoter") are open to UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), parental consent is required for under 16s, and excludes employees of Garden Furniture House.

These General Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to any promotion, prize draw or competition (the "Competition"/"Competitions") operated by Garden Furniture House via the Garden Furniture House website www.gardenfurniturehouse.co.uk, email or through any other medium including any social media websites such as Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest.

These Terms, along with any Supplementary Rules (as defined in the following sections) shall be legally binding on you when you enter and/or participate in any Competitions.

By submitting an entry to any Competition you are agreeing to these Terms and any Supplementary Rules and you warrant that you have legal capacity to enter into and agree to be bound by these Terms and any Supplementary Rules.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they can be contacted by Oak Furniture House via Facebook Messenger / Instagram Direct Message in order to be notified that they have won a prize. If Oak Furniture House receives no reply from the chosen winner within 7 days of being contacted the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize in accordance with the promotional rules.

The Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook/Instagram; entrants and participants in this promotion completely release and hold harmless Facebook/Instagram from any and all liability associated with this promotion.

Any photo you take and post online of the winning product the promoter owns the rights to and can use it on the promoters social platforms. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. The promoter can tag the winner in the Facebook and Instagram Contest Posts announcing the end of the competition.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a participant where there is reasonable ground to believe there has been a breach of the Terms or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.

In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. Such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

Entry to a Competition shall be deemed as an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Section 2: Supplementary Rules

All Competitions will be supplemented by some additional terms and rules that apply to that specific Competition, which we will make available on our website or any third party websites that are used to advertise a Competition including Facebook or Instagram (the "Supplementary Rules").
The Supplementary Rules are hereby incorporated into and form a part of these Terms

Section 2.1: Supplementary Rules for the Spring Giveaway Competition

a. The Spring Competition will run from 00:01 on the 1st of April 2022 until 11:59 on the 30tht of April 2022. Any entries after this deadline will not be included in the final draw.

b. The winner of the competition will receive a Signature Weave Garden UV Treated Rattan Harper Grey Stackable Sofa Set + Free 2-man curb side delivery only. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for delivery. Assembly will not be included.

c. To enter, participants will need to:

Like the Competition Posts on any of the 2 platforms where the Competition is taking place (Facebook and Instagram).
If participating on Facebook, share the Competition Post
Like / Follow any of our official Instagram or Facebook Pages
Tag at least a friend in the comments of any of the Contest posts
Multiple entries are not permitted. In case you submit multiple Comments on the Competition Posts, we will only consider one entry per participant.
No responsibility can be accepted by Oak Furniture House for entries that are not received for any reason.

d. The winner will be selected by a member of Oak Furniture House, at random by software, from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents on any of the 2 platforms: Facebook or Instagram. The winner will be selected and announced within 3 days from the final day of the Competition on the Instagram/Facebook pages and by direct contact.

The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

Section 2.2: Supplementary Rules for the £500 Draw Promotion

The £500 Draw Promotion will run from 00:01 on the 1st of April 2022 until 11:59 on the 30st of April 2022. Any entries after this deadline will not be included in the final draw.
